Leonardo Bussoletti for some years, has given life to a project called “Ciliegiolo for Art”. The project involves the recovery of the entire decorative cycle of 33 large lunettes frescoed in the cloister of the former Convent of St. Augustine of Narni, perhaps the work of the artist Federico Benincasa Narni, depicting “stories from the lives of saints and blessed Augustinians,” performed during the eighteenth century.

Thanks to the contribution of the sales of Ciliegiolo di Narni 05035 Giovenale Sisti, Vicar General of the Augustinian order, as it is written on the plate surmounted by a heraldic coat of arms present between the two arches which also characterizes the label of the wine.

The purchase of the bottle makes one immediately participate to the project and the QR Code placed in the back label allows to follow the progress of the works. Wine and art are for Leonardo Bussoletti an ideally perfect match.

The project included, in accordance with the municipality of Narni and the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage, the restoration of the old cellars of the cloister which today host the historical winery of the winery.
